There are three ways to register for the Red Nose Run:

Register by mail – Entry forms will be available at the Trak Shak in Homewood various local health clubs, and at Ronald Mcdonald House.  You can also download an ENTRY FORM [PDF] The entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another race participant. The 10 Mile Run has a 2 hour time limit (12 Minute/mile pace).

Why we ask participants to register early:  It helps us to plan better for the race.  We can better plan for how much post-race food is needed.  We have a far better idea of how many shirts to order and in the correct sizes.  We can order enough bibs and safety pins. We can better estimate the about of fluids out on the course, and the number of cups to have.   All these things are important to us, because they are important thing to the runners.  Please help us by signing up early, pickup your race packet  and avoid the long lines race morning.

Packet Pickup
All Registered entrants are Strongly encouraged to pick up their race packet Prior to race morning at the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham [Get Directions] (Wednesday, January 4th  - Friday, January 6th) to avoid the long lines. Race packets will also be available for pickup at Race Headquarters (Rosewood Hall at Soho Square  [Get Directions]) on Race Day. Please look through your race packet and review your race day instructions. Requested shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

Notes:

  • Do not mail registrations after December 30th, 2011.
  • Runner Packets will NOT be mailed. T-shirts will NOT be mailed. Awards will NOT be mailed.
  • Entry Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Red Nose Run reserves the right to refuse any registration.
  • If you are under 18 years of age, you MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign the Entry Form in order to participate.
  • Minimum age for the 10 Mile is 10 years old.
  • ALL race participants are required to sign race entry waiver.
  • There is a 2 Hour Course Limit for the 10 Mile Run.  This is 12 minute per mile pace.  This is due to Police and Volunteer support.  
  • No bandits are allowed to participate in the race. (A bandit is a person who has not officially registered for the Red Nose Run).
