Registration

There are three ways to register for the Red Nose Run:

  1. Register online at active.com. Online registration closes January 8, 2010 at 8:00pm CT.
  2. Register in person at the Trak Shak in Homewood [Get Directions] until January 8th. (Packet Pickup at the Trak Shak in Homewood [Get Directions] from January  6th – 8th.) The Trak Shak
  3. Register by mail - Entry forms will be available at the Trak Shak in Homewood [Get Directions], various local health clubs, and at Ronald Mcdonald House.  You can also download an ENTRY FORM [PDF] The entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another race participant. Please pay amount due by check or money order in US funds to RMHCA Red Nose Run and mail to:  [ENTRY FORM Multi-Page PDF]

Students (20 Years old and under) - $20 
All participants receive a Long Sleeve T-shirt

Why we ask participants to register early:  It helps us to plan better for the race.  We can better plan for how much post-race food is needed.  We have a far better idea of how many shirts to order and in the correct sizes.  We can order enough bibs and safety pins. We can better estimate the about of fluids out on the course, and the number of cups to have.   All these things are important to us, because they are important thing to the runners.  Please help us by signing up early, pickup your race packet  and avoid the long lines race morning.

Want to see if we have your registration?  You can check your registration at Active.com.
If you mailed your race application, please wait 2 weeks for it to appear online.
If you registered via Active.com, please wait 24 hours for it to appear online.
Please note: the Red Nose Run  race confirmation notices are sent within 3 days of Online registration being recived and 2 weeks for paper application.

Packet Pickup
All Registered entrants are Strongly encouraged to pick up their race packet Prior to race morning at the Trak Shak in Homewood [Get Directions] (Wednesday, January 6th  - Friday, January 8th) to avoid the long lines. Race packets will also be available for pickup at Race Headquarters (Boutwell Auditorium [Get Directions]) on Race Day. Please look through your race packet and review your race day instructions. Requested shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

Runner Packets will NOT be mailed. T-shirts will NOT be mailed. Awards will NOT be mailed.

  • Red Nose Run reserves the right to refuse any registration.
  • If you are under 18 years of age, you MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign the Entry Form in order to participate.
  • Minimum age for the 10 Mile is 10 years old.
  • ALL race participants are required to sign race entry waiver.
  • No bandits are allowed to participate in the race. (A bandit is a person who has not officially registered for the Red Nose Run).
